I am Associate Professor at ESADE Business
School in Barcelona, Spain. I hold a Ph.D. in Economics from Universidad
Carlos III de Madrid, and my research focuses on different topics related
to credit risk. These include both structural and non-parametric pricing models,
credit derivatives, markets' efficiency and optimal capital structure, among others. As regards
my teaching activity at the BA, MSc, MBA and Executive Education level, topics
taught cover different areas of Financial Economics: Financial Mathematics,
Portfolio Theory, Fixed Income, Financial Derivatives and Risk Management. I
have also served as Academic Director of the MSc in Finance at ESADE Business
School.
